Josh Hall is a Louisiana native born just outside of New Orleans and raised fishing in Lake Pontchartrain and the marshes of Louisiana’s coast. As he got older, his past time grew from a hobby and to a full-blown passion. As Josh began competing in tournaments, he became frustrated with spinnerbaits that often broke and opened up leading to lost fish. Josh took his drive to catch fish to another level when he created his own heavy-duty line, the Hall’s HD Spinnerbait. With a push from good friend and local competitor, Andre Thomas, Josh began designing, testing and refining these handmade HD Spinners, which are now commonly used across the Gulf Coast today. While nothing beats Josh’s love for the sport of fishing, the thrill of seeing a happy customer’s catch with a lure that he made by hand is a close second.
