Rob Gorta served eight years in the United States Coast Guard prior to starting his own charter service fishing the Gulf of Mexico in 1997. He runs about 200 trips a year out of the Tampa Bay Area. Known for sitecasting and stalking redfish in shallow water, as well as a his talents as a Tarpon angler, Captain Rob has shared his angling knowledge on numerous fishing shows on TNN Outdoors, ESPN2 and many more.
